Green Shop is an environmentally oriented shop opened on the World Environment Day in 1994. The main aim of this shop is to provide eco-friendly products and to reduce the growing plastic water bottles.

Empty water bottles create the majority of garbage in Mcleod Ganj. The Green Shop reduces the use of plastic bottles by an average of 500 bottles in a month. People also bring expired medicines and used batteries to the Green Shop , which will later be disposed properly in an environmentally sound manner.
